The undergraduate program in audiology and speech pathology is a preprofessional program following the guidelines of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The undergraduate curriculum by itself does not certify the student to work as a professional, but provides the preprofessional background needed to pursue graduate training, Arkansas Board of Examiner licensing, and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology or audiology.
