The department is housed in the College of Liberal Arts and offers Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree programs in speech-language pathology. The training program in speech-language pathology at Auburn University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in audiology and speech pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 10801 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852, 301-897-5700. Recently U. S. News and World Report Magazine ranked our program in the top 51 out of over 225 speech-language pathology training programs in the United States. Most of the programs ranked above us are doctoral-level, so this is a great accomplishment for a department that offers only the masters degree.
